Description
Rose Acetate
Aroma Chemicals + Fixative
Odour Family : Floral
Appearance : Colourless liquid
Odour Profile :
Rose Acetate presents a deep, powdery, balsamic rose note with distinct soapy facets, though its scent is somewhat mild in its pure crystalline form and reveals its full character primarily in dilution.
Uses :
Primarily used as a powerful fixative for rose and other floral notes, extending longevity in fine fragrances, soaps, cosmetics, and bath products.
Rose Acetate has a lovely soft scent akin to that of the scent of a deep red rose floating across a great distance. It has facets that are powdery, sweet (almost gourmand) and floral.
While it is a nice material in its own right, its true power comes to light when blended with phenyl ethyl alcohol (PEA) as part of a rose accord. Rose crystals have an astonishing ability to add an almost three dimensional effect to PEA, imparting a naturalness and an inimitable quality that is extremely appealing.
For any perfumer serious about making good rose bases or sophisticated rose notes, this is an essential material.
Rose crystals are a fine white powder which can be simply added to your blends into which it will quite happily dissolve.
