Methyl Ionone presents an elegant and sophisticated floral-woody character dominated by violet and orris (iris) notes, enhanced by a pronounced powdery quality and complemented by subtle nuances of sweet fruitiness (berry), tobacco, and a refined creamy texture.

Uses
Primarily used as a foundational element in violet and orris reconstructions, a versatile modifier that bridges heart and base notes, and a harmonizing agent that adds volume, sophistication, and tenacity to diverse fragrance families.

Woody, floral, violet, orris. Methyl Ionone is the most floral and sweet of the methyl ionone family (outside of the Firmenich Iralia® and Isoraldeine Cetone Alpha).

This product has a premium odour despite its surprisingly low price. If you can’t afford the supreme Iralia or Isoraldeine Cetone Alpha, this is the product you need.
