Polysantol® presents a powerful, diffusive sandalwood character with a distinctive creamy quality, enhanced by subtle herbal undertones and a hint of tropical fruitiness.

Uses :
Provides strong, long-lasting sandalwood effects in fine fragrances, personal care, and household products.

Strong and profoundly beautiful, Polysantol is perhaps the most useful sandalwood chemical we have today. It works in traces to add a true to life radiant sandalwood note that is beloved by all and in overdose it can add interesting effects. But do bear in mind that it is restricted by IFRA 51 to a maximum of 1.1% of your finished product.

Polysantol is, like Javanol® from Givaudan, incredible in its power. At 0.85% it makes up the entire Sandalwood note of Creed’s Original Santal and first appeared in Samsara by Guerlain in a 9.5% overdose.
